SYMPOSIUM: LEAVING A LIVING LEGACY
Singapore’s rapidly ageing society faces a critical gap in proactive legacy planning. Many families are unsure where to begin, unaware of the lasting impact such planning can have, or find it difficult to navigate the available resources. Common challenges include low awareness of its significance, confusion over where to seek help, and communication barriers between generations—particularly when discussing sensitive issues like end-of-life care, values, and financial arrangements.
To address these gaps, Silver Caregivers Co-operative Limited is organising “Leaving A Living Legacy: Plan Today, Thrive Tomorrow” — a symposium designed to guide families in starting their legacy planning journey. Through expert talks, practical insights, and real-life experiences, this event aims to raise awareness, clarify pathways to support, and empower families—especially those in the sandwich generation—to initiate meaningful conversations and take action with clarity and confidence
